Welcome to Mountain Jam

Welcome to Mountain jam

Welcome to Mountain Jam, the ultimate jam band experience where rock, folk, indie, roots, and Americana collide in a celebration of music, freedom, and connection. Founded in 2005 by Radio Woodstock to celebrate 25 years of independent and eclectic radio, Mountain Jam has grown into one of the premier music festivals in the Northeast.

For 14 years, the festival transformed Hunter Mountain into a musical paradise, with unforgettable performances that stretched deep into the night. In 2019, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the historic 1969 Woodstock Festival, Mountain Jam moved to the iconic Woodstock site, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, bringing the magic of jam bands even closer to rock history. The pandemic caused the cancellation of the Festival in 2020, and Mountain Jam is making its triumphant return in 2025, independently produced by the original Mountain Jam & Radio Woodstock team, this time to its new home at Belleayre Mountain. Back where it belongs, nestled in the heart of the Catskills, the festival is ready to bring its signature jam band magic back to the peaks and valleys. The festival has evolved, but its soul remains rooted in the improvisational spirit that started it all.
